Brentwood Vibes


Home to around 43,000 residents, Brentwood is located about 15-20 mintues south of downtown Nashville and the airport. Brentwood is bordered to the north by Forest Hills, Oak Hill, and Nashville, to the east by Williamson County, to the south by Franklin, and to the west by Williamson County again.


Brentwood receives some very high ratings. According to niche.com, Brentwood is rated the #1 suburb to live, the #1 suburb to raise a family, #2 suburb for best public schools, and #5 for young professionals, in all of Tennessee.


Speaking of schools, Brentwood is home to some of the best schools in the Nashville area and all of Tennessee. Served by Williamson County Schools (rated an A), the city is served primarily by three high schools - Brentwood (serves most of the city), Ravenwood, and Centennial. The middle schools serving the city are Brentwood and Sunset. And lastly, there are about 7 elementary schools serving the city. With that said, all of those schools are rated either an A or A+*.


Home Price Statistics


The median sale price in Brentwood comes in around $984k, which is quite a bit higher than the Nashville metro median of around $375k. Currently on the market, the range for single-family homes starts around $525k and goes up to around $15m. There are very few, but in terms of condo/townhomes, there are 3 currently on the market ranging from $370k up to $560k. Not surprisingly, over 90% of Brentwood residents own their home.
