Home to close to 10,000 residents, Music Row is located about 5 minutes from downtown Nashville and about 10 minutes to the airport. It is bordered to the by I-40 and the Gulch and North Gulch neighborhoods, to the east by the Edgehill neighborhood, to the south by Belmont University and the Hillsboro West End neighborhood, and to the west by Broadway, Vanderbilt University, and the Midtown neighborhood.
Music Row is rated the 3rd best neighborhood to live in Nashville. It is home to some of the most infamous and historic places in music history. Places like RCA Studio B where the likes of Elvis and Dolly Parton recorded and Columbia Studio A where the likes of Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash recorded, make the lore of Music Row real. There are tons of huge studios based here like BMI, Warner, Sony, Columbia, Big Machine Records, ASCAP, and others.
It's a small land mass and so you have the cool and hip spots to eat, drink, and socialize and your suburban style amenities will require you to leave the neighborhood.
For an urban neighborhood, the schools are surprisingly decent. Music Row is served by the Metro Nashville Public Schools. The neighborhood is served by Hillsboro High School, West End Middle Schools, and Eakin Elementary School which are rated B+, B, and B+ respectively according to niche.com. The neighborhood is also bordered by two prominent universities - Vanderbilt University and Belmont University.
Home Price Statistics
The neighborhood is an urban renter heavy area with the ratio of renters to owners is 76% to 24%. There are not a ton of homes for sale at any given time. If you're looking at condos/townhomes, the median sale price comes in around $320k, while single-family homes come in around $500k. At the time of researching for this, there was only 1 listing on the market - a condo for $485k.

It's cramped and it's touristy
Not really any suburban amenities like grocery stores, Target, etc
Certain areas lack a pride of ownership, maybe a bit dingy in spots
Very little outdoor/park space
